Biscuit Time

Day two: Making the biscuits!
Now hopefully you won't need a lot of photo's showing you how to make the biscuits. If you need photo's baking may not be the hobby for you. :)
Here's what you're gonna need:

2 1/2 cups of flour
3 T sugar
1 1/2 T baking powder
1/4 t salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup of buttermilk (made yesterday)

Combine all of your dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl and stir well. Add in your butter and then add your buttermilk stirring until JUST mixed. Do not over mix your batter or your biscuits will turn into little hockey pucks!
Now here's the great part- there is no kneading, no rolling out, no cutting, you just grease your muffin tins with butter and spoon the batter in. I make big muffins so this recipe makes about 10 muffins for me. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes and you've got warm, made from scratch, buttermilk biscuits for breakfast or dinner. Yum.
