homemade dish soap (for your dishwasher)

This recipe comes straight out of the latest issue of Mary Jane's Farm Magazine so I can't take credit for creating it! :) Cindy asked me to post it here, so here ya go:

Combine equal parts baking soda and borax in the detergent compartment and use white vinegar in the rinse cycle well.

That's it. Pretty simple!
If you try it, please let me know what your experience with it is. I may give it a go myself! :)

i had no idea it would be so easy. i have been wanting to use my own and not pay so much for it for sometime...but never took the time to figure it out. i already use vinegar in my rinse aid so there is not a whole lot more to change. thanks for posting this.

Hmmm... I have borax, I may just try this. I ran out of detergent the other night and sent the hubs to get some. I wish I would have known this before I sent him. Thank you!!
